The popular television gardening series on BBC 2 will come to an end this Friday (October 30) for another year but the question doing the rounds on social media is, who will present the series in 2021? We have the answer.
During a recent twitter conversation the current presenter Monty Don admitted that he still has two more years left on his contract. So relax during the winter and look forward to seeing Monty back in Spring 2021.
You’ve got me for at least 2 more years I am afraid!

The question will be whether Monty will be asked to renew his contract in 2023 or will Monty himself decide it’s time to step back. The natural successor would be Adam Frost and over recent years we’ve seen more and more of his garden which lies on the Northamptonshire / Lincolnshire border. Adam trained under the longest serving presenter Geoff Hamilton back in the 1980s/90s.
Who would you like to see present the programme from 2023 if Monty decided he wanted to step back? No woman has ever fronted the show so is it time to break with tradition, if so, who would you choose? Tell us below.
